My interest in hypnosis began many years ago when I played in a band that opened for various other artists. Among the artists was Dr. R.E. Bellows. When I talked with Dr. Bellows about hypnosis, I learned how it was not only a venue of entertainment, but a means to help people better their lives.

The root cause of anxiety is in the subconscious mind not in the conscious mind. Subconscious techniques are especially powerful because
they help relax the body and release negative beliefs that can spiral out of control while taking a test.
Hypnosis is a technique that goes straight to the subconscious source of our emotions and beliefs. Solving problems subconsciously has a powerful effect on behavior and confidence, replacing negative beliefs with positive ones. A qualified hypnotherapist can teach techniques to clear the mind, reduce stress, and increase focus, thereby curtailing anxiety resulting in improved performance with greater accuracy and speed. Scientific studies also show that relaxation increases awareness and confidence.
Hypnosis is an invaluable technique for reducing test anxiety. While students cannot have their hypnotherapist sitting next to them as they take the test, they can use self-hypnosis effectively with a little practice. Through the use of hypnosis -whether in a clinical environment or through learned self-hypnosis- you can learn how to learn better, remember more and do your best every time!
